WHAT WE DO

Without the support of the Carmel Public Library Foundation our Library could not function.

The Carmel Public Library Foundation, through the gifts, donations and bequests of its members, provides the funds for all of the books, materials, programs and services of the Library. Harrison Memorial Library provides a truly comprehensive and innovative array of services to the community. Not everyone knows the depth of the financial support the Foundation provides. The City of Carmel-By-The-Sea provides for most of the salaries of the Librarians and the Library buildings. The Carmel Public Library Foundation, along with the Friends of the Harrison Memorial Library, provides all of the rest.

Because of your contributions, Library patrons benefit from a truly vast array of books, materials, programs and services. Below are highlights. Click here for more Donor-supported benefits for you!
